Twisted Oak Canine Camp is owned and operated by Miranda Horn. Her dog training career began in 2014 by completing a year-long apprenticeship learning to train pet obedience and behavior modification, as well as raising and training Labrador Retrievers to be psychiatric service dogs for veterans with PTSD and traumatic brain injuries. After completing her apprenticeship, she subsequently rose through the ranks to become a senior trainer. Her position led to her expertise in canine behavior and provided her with the ability to train high-level obedience and tasking. She has also focused on honing her skills with high-drive working/sport dogs, training multiple dogs to obtain titles in the protection sport of IGP. Her two personal dogs, Doug (Belgian Malinois) and Atlas (Cane Corso), have obtained the titles of BH, IGP1, and GPr1, while winning the awards of High IGP1, High Obedience, and High in Trial.
